Chicken & Potato Slow Cooker

Chicken and Potato Slow Cooker  is another simple but tasty recipe for chicken, prepared in the early morning and ready to eat when you get home from work, no rushing home because you need to get dinner going, all you will have to do is thicken the gravy if necessary, and add a nice salad if you want to.

We have added three delicious salads at the bottom of the recipe, which will go down well with the dish.

Ingredients for Chicken and Potato Slow cooker

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed (more if you want).
  • 1 medium can whole kernel corn.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup.
  • chicken breasts
  • ½ cup milk.
  • ½ cup sour cream.
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter, melted.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  • ½ cup of water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method for Chicken and Potato Slow cooker

  • Start early in the morning before going to work for the day.
  • Set the slow cooker on low.
  • Combine corn, chicken soup, milk, sour cream and melted butter in a large bowl.
  • Stir to combine
  • Pour mixture into the slow cooker.
  • Add chicken breasts.
  • Add the Cubed potatoes and mix.
  • Go to work!

When you get home from work, stir the pot, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top. Switch the pot off and serve on a bed of Basmati rice.
